Register Now To Get On The Road to Driving

Our driving lessons course fee is comprehensive, covering both tax and all MVD exams, including the written (computer) and road exams. We are authorized to administer these exams, and their costs are included in our course fee. When comparing our services to other driver education schools, be sure to inquire about additional fees for exams, as some institutions may charge extra for MVD exams and taxes, significantly increasing the overall cost for your child.

Our fee includes tax and both MVD exams. At registration, students need to provide a birth certificate and Social Security card. If you do not have a Social Security number, please contact us via email or telephonically for information on obtaining a Standard Driver’s License.

At AMC Driving School, LLC we offer MVD Road Exams and MVD Written (Computer) Exams to non-AMC School of Driving students and the general public. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please contact us directly to inquire. For more information see our FAQ

Drivers Education Course

Commitment to Professionalism and Quality in Driver’s Education

$250/One Time Fee

37-hour course: Including drive time
Classroom Instruction: Delivered by certified instructors.
Behind-the-Wheel Training: Conducted by certified Instructors with real life experience in professional driving.
DWI/DUI Prevention and Defensive Driving: Comprehensive training focused on preventing driving under the influence and enhancing defensive driving skills by a certified law enforcement officer.
MVD Computer Exam: Preparation and administration of the MVD written (computer-based) exam.
MVD Road Exam: Administration of the MVD road skills test.
Certifications: Our program is certified by the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) and the New Mexico Traffic Safety Bureau.
Instructor Credentials: All our instructors are certified and accredited by the state of New Mexico.

Private Driving Lessons

$65 +tax/Hr

Private Driving Lessons cost $65 an hour, 3 hour minimum includes:

How to change a tire
Check all fluids
How to use a jack (bottle jack, scissor jack, handyman jack)
Conduct pre and post trip inspections
Basic parking / backing / parallel
Driving day or night

Our private lessons are ideal for new drivers, those preparing for their road exam, and anyone looking to gain a deeper understanding of their vehicle.

Course Fee Deposit

Price: $158.00

A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to secure your spot in the course. This deposit includes sales tax and the Square processing fees. The remaining balance is due on the first day of class. The deposit must be paid in order to hold the students place in the course. Once we receive your pre-enrollment inquiry, AMC Driving School will contact you within 24 hours after receiving your inquiry. At that time, we'll send you the official registration form along with a payment link. Alternatively, you can visit our office to pay in cash and avoid Square processing fees.
